Engineered with precision bogie technology and German made guide rollers, these doors glide quietly and confidently, even with sash weights of up to 80 kg. It’s the kind of movement that feels premium the moment you touch it.
To keep the proportions elegant, PVC U sash profiles are around 100 mm wide, with recommended panel widths between 750–900 mm. Panels narrower than 700 mm leave less than 500 mm of visible glass, which can look out of balance. Ideal door heights range from 2000–2400 mm, giving you a tall, expansive opening that enhances the sense of space.
For safer, more seamless transitions, the sill frame and tracks are best rebated down, with the deck sitting slightly lower than the door panels. It creates a cleaner threshold and a more comfortable flow between indoors and out.
Bi folding doors offer remarkable design freedom too. Three or five panels can fold neatly to one side, or you can pair two sets together at a corner to create a dramatic open corner effect. With no post in the way, the entire corner disappears — provided the structure above is engineered to carry the load.
