Casement Window

OPEN INWARDS OR OUTWARDS

Casement windows offer a clean, modern look and the flexibility to open either inwards or outwards. A pair of casement sashes can meet neatly in the centre without a fixed mullion, giving you a wider, more open view. If preferred, a permanent mullion can also be included.

Each casement window features a centrally positioned locking handle that operates a secure multi point locking system along the handle side.

Inward opening casement sashes are side hung, making them easy to clean from inside the home. Outward opening casement sashes use durable friction stays at the top and bottom for smooth, controlled operation. Safety stays are generally not used on casements, as they would restrict the opening to less than 100 mm.

Casement windows without safety stays should not be installed in locations where there is a risk of falling.
